We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent Canadian organization within the software and technology sector, known for its innovation and growth through strategic acquisitions. Headquartered in Toronto, the company has established itself as a leader in its industry, fostering a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. They are seeking a progressive Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over 5 years of post-graduate experience, trained at a major public accounting firm, who thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple initiatives across diverse business units. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to strategic financial management. Key responsibilities and oversight: Lead financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, particularly Revenue Recognition. Support and oversee consolidation and reporting processes for multiple entities. Act as a strategic business partner to operational stakeholders across business units. Contribute to FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support acquisition integration projects, including financial due diligence and reporting. Provide insights and analysis to support M&A decision-making and post-acquisition integration. Manage a team of two direct reports, fostering development and high performance. The Company is offering a strong compensation package including an attractive base salary, and annual performance bonus. Full remuneration details to be disclosed to all candidates under consideration. The successful candidate will possess the following: CPA designation and trained at a major public acconuting firm. Over 5 years of post-graduate experience supporting IFRS and revenue recognition. Proven management and leadership capabilities. Relevant experience within software or technology industries preferred. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with cross-functional teams. Ability to handle a strategic, full-stack finance role with exposure to M&A activity. A high level of integrity and professionalism.
