Job Description Internal Job Title: Account Associate Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Job Location: 18 Auriga Drive, Ottawa, ON Work Model: Hybrid Job Status: Existing Vacancy Position Summary As an Account Associate in our International Business Development team, you will support our Caribbean based business development activities in an administrative capacity, providing contract oversight and looking after the day-to-day requirements of you assigned customer accounts while also executing process related activities that support existing customers and enable the pursuit of new business. Please note: This is an entry level position within CBN's Business Development group. Responsibilities Customer Relationship Management Build strong working level relationships with our customers and provide top-notch customer service by addressing their inquiries expediently and effectively and escalating to appropriate internal stakeholders as required. Manage the sales inquiry, design brief, sales order, and delivery request processes for your assigned customers. Contract and Deliverable Management Maintain a tracking spreadsheet for all contract deliverables, monitor deliverable fulfillment, and accurately invoice customers against key deliverables and provide regular status reports. Inventory and Production Monitoring Monitor inventory levels, production, and delivery requirements to ensure that delivery schedules are on-track and pro-actively communicate any potential issues to the team. Business Development Support Participate in and contribute to monthly sales forecast reviews. Support new business pursuits by assisting with request for proposal (RFP) preparation, assembly, and delivery and monitor progress on relevant projects and change requests. Maintain business development directories and ensure they are up to date with all relevant contract, commercial, and financial information. Various other duties and responsibilities Qualifications Mandatory Requirements Legally eligible to work in Canada Fluency in English (speak, read, write) Able to obtain (in a timely manner) and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) security clearance Ability to travel internationally approx. 2-6 weeks/year Minimum Qualifications College diploma in Business Administration (or related field) or equivalent additional years of relevant work experience Proficiency in MS O365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Interpersonal skills Organization/time management skills Self-directed Adaptable Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (or related field) Fluency in French (speak, read, write) Professional work experience in sales, marketing, customer service or administrative capacity Additional Information Equal Opportunity Statement Our organization is committed to employment equity and diversity in the workplace.
