The work is vitally important as it ensures the quality and authenticity of national currencies, passports, driver’s licenses, and other secure documents that CBN produces for governments around the world. Responsibilities Inspect printed documents (currency, passports, driver’s licenses, tax stamps, etc.) and identify any flaws such as colour variations or print imperfections.Flag any document flaws that fall outside of established quality standards to the Production Supervisor for review.Count printed work (sheets, books, cards) quickly and accurately to ensure the number of documents printed matches the number expected.QualificationsSoft Skills and CompetenciesAttention to detailSolid numeracy skills (addition, subtraction, etc.)Interpersonal skillsCommunication, teamwork and collaborationSound judgementAdaptableReliable (attendance)Knowledge and Experience (assets, but not required)Computer literacyKnowledge of/experience in print industryKnowledge of/experience in quality controlMandatory RequirementsLanguage: Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).Vision: Ability to pass a colour-blindness test.Physical Demands: Ability to bend, lift/carry 25 lbs. on a regular basis, stand and walk for prolonged periods, and perform repetitive work.Work Hours: Ability to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, 12-hour shifts).Security Clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.Additional InformationCanadian Bank Note Company (CBN) is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees are treated with dignity and respect.
