MINISTER OF THE CONGREGATION Yorkminster Park Baptist Church Toronto, Ontario, Canada Yorkminster Park Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Minister of the Congregation (Minister) to provide spiritual leadership, faithful preaching, and visionary guidance for our church in the heart of midtown Toronto. To learn more about the church, please read About Yorkminster Park The Role The Minister will provide leadership at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church as a member of a collaborative Ministerial Team composed of: Minister of Pastoral Care and Discipleship Director of Family Ministry Director of Mission and Community Engagement Director of Music and Church Organist Parish Nurse The Minister Is Called To preach the gospel of Christ. To lead the spiritual growth and expansion of the church. To be a leader within the church community and connect, collaborate, partner, and serve with clergy from other denominations and faiths. To work with Boards of the Church to provide vision for the future and sustainability of the church community at YPBC. Candidates not currently accredited must be eligible and willing to pursue accreditation and maintain good standing as a condition of continuing in the position. The Preferred Candidate Will Be An ordained minister recognized by a Baptist Convention in fellowship with the Canadian Baptist Ministries An ordained minister recognized by a Baptist Convention of another country, whose ordination standards are acceptable to the Credentials Committee of Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebed. An ordained minister within another Christian denomination, whose ordination standards are acceptable to the Credentials Committee of Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec. The Preferred Candidate Will Hold a Master of Divinity/Theology from a recognized theological institution. The Minister will provide spiritual leadership and preaching while guiding the church community. They will also collaborate with other clergy and work with church boards to ensure the church's vision and sustainability.
