Job Summary: The Purchasing Supervisor, will be responsible for procuring equipment, materials, services, and land or access rights required by the organization. The role involves assessing requirements, managing tenders and supplier negotiations, coordinating delivery schedules, and supporting contract and purchasing activities to ensure operational needs are met efficiently. What you will be doing: Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased Negotiate offers from suppliers Consult with suppliers Hire, train and supervise staff Review quotations Determine contract terms and conditions Award contracts to appropriate parties Establish delivery schedules Monitor progress of delivery schedules Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization Provide customer service Internal audit What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3 years to 5years Ability to work independently Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Attention to detail Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Organized Team player Time management Flexible and able to multitask Computer and technology Knowledge: MS Word MS Office Oracle MS Excel MS Outlook MS PowerPoint MS Windows Accounting software Data analysis and interpretation Negotiations Field Coordination and planning.
