Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Program Assistant II based in Toronto. Reporting to the Supervisor, Hearing Healthcare Client Accounts, Program Assistant II is responsible for assisting the region by providing reception, administrative and program support. The incumbent will provide information in response to public inquiries for all programs and cover other neighboring locations within GTA when required by your manager. This is a Permanent, full-time onsite position working Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This posting is for an existing vacancy. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary diploma in Office or Business Administration, along with 2-3 years’ related experience, preferably in a Hearing Healthcare setting and/or medical office. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet, and database applications, as well as intermediate accounting skills, is required as well. We are also looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. A sense of urgency is required, as well as the ability to handle a pressurized environment and manage a varied workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
