Founded in 1947, Canadian Helicopters is the largest helicopter transportation services provider in Canada. Based from 25 locations across Canada, Canadian Helicopters operates over 100 aircraft in support of a range of multinational companies and government agencies including defense, mineral exploration, forest management, hydro and other utilities, construction, air ambulance and search and rescue. In addition to charter services, company affiliates provide flight training and third-party repair and maintenance services. We currently have an opportunity for a permanent full-time M-Rated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Halifax (Enfield), NS. Job Description Reporting to the base Supervisory Base AME, duties include: Planning and performing aircraft maintenance. Assuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. Organizing and maintaining the hangar and support equipment. Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 rated AME license. Holding or having held ACA on the Sikorsky S76 series or other multi-engined IFR helicopter would be a definite asset. 3 To 5 Years Of Helicopter Maintenance Experience Preferred. Must be able to obtain Access to Controlled Goods authority and a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) for airport airside access. Must have the legal right to work in Canada. Must be organized and a self-starter. Must be customer focused and be a team player. Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Halifax area. Additional Information Remuneration: Competitive salary according to experience.
