The Product Manager is an individual contributor responsible for the full lifecycle of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) product lines manufactured and distributed by CHS. The NICU business includes both a Canadian and USA component. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this position bridges the gap between product management and strategic marketing. You will act as the "Voice of the Customer" (VOC), translating market needs into actionable inputs for development, while also executing commercial launch strategies and supporting critical bid submissions. This role requires a passion for process improvement, data analytics, and hands-on portfolio management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Product Management & Development Own and manage a robust product change process for company manufactured product lines. Ensure all changes to components, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and configurations are executed seamlessly with minimal disruption to the customer. Actively engage with customers and sales teams to gather VOC insights and provide data-driven input into New Product Development (NPD) opportunities. Manage the product roadmap from concept to end-of-life, ensuring the portfolio meets current market needs and profitability targets. Champion continuous process improvement initiatives within the product management function to increase speed-to-market and operational efficiency. Conduct business reviews with 3rd party vendors as required. Marketing, RFPs & Demand Generation Support the strategic response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tenders. Assist in ensuring product positioning, pricing, and technical specifications are accurate, competitive, and aligned with brand strategy for all submissions. Execute the go-to-market strategy for new products, ensuring Sales, Operations, and Customer Service are aligned for successful commercial launches. Develop marketing business plans, value propositions, and positioning strategies for the portfolio. Data, Analytics & Financials Utilize business intelligence tools to create accurate forecasts and demand plan models. Ensure accurate demand forecasting to support inventory management and supply chain alignment. Analyze margins and pricing to maximize customer value and company profit. Knowledge, Experience & Education Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Science, or Arts) from an accredited University Required Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Medical Device Marketing or Product Management. Specific Expertise: Proven experience managing complex product lines. Demonstrated success supporting New Product Development (NPD) and commercial launches. Strong background in data analytics and demand forecasting. Familiarity with the RFP/Tender process and experience reviewing complex bid submissions. Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and CRM platforms. Ability to interpret complex data sets to create demand models and financial forecasts. Work Environment & Physical Demands Office Expectations: The majority of the time will be spent in the Oakville head office environment with a controlled climate. Operations Engagement: Occasional time will be spent in production/warehouse environments to understand product assembly and logistics. Field Work: Requires travel (approx. 10-20%) to customer sites, trade shows, and supplier offices.
