WHAT YOU’LL DO AS MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR As our Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play an important hands-on role in keeping our hostel, guest facilities, and staff accommodations safe, functional, welcoming, and well maintained. You’ll oversee the day-to-day maintenance of both the interior and exterior of the property while providing direction and support to the Maintenance team. Your responsibilities will include: * Performing hands-on maintenance and repairs throughout the hostel and staff accommodations * Providing direction and support to Maintenance staff * Ensuring health and safety regulations and HI Canada policies and procedures are followed * Troubleshooting maintenance issues and finding practical solutions * Coordinating with external contractors and trades when required * Working closely with other hostel departments to ensure guest and operational needs are met * Helping ensure our accommodations and services meet HI Canada standards * Other duties as required WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, practical, resourceful, and enjoys solving problems.
