What you’ll do The Laboratory Instrumentation Technologists: • conduct standard calibrations of field (radiation and contamination detection instruments) and reference equipment; • support the collection and assessment of data including, conducting monthly/annual tests and verifications; • contribute to the development of reports and documents for review by senior staff; • manage instrument and equipment inventories; • participate in projects and initiatives; • respond to services requests and communicate technical information to clients/end-users. ////////////////// Ce que vous ferez Les technologues en instrumentation de laboratoire : • effectuent des étalonnages normalisés de l’équipement de terrain (instruments de détection du rayonnement et de la contamination) et de référence; • appuient la collecte et l’évaluation des données, y compris la réalisation d’essais et de vérifications mensuels/annuels; • contribuent à l’élaboration de rapports et de documents aux fins d’examen par le personnel principal; • gèrent les inventaires d’instruments et d’équipement; • participent à des projets et initiatives; • répondent aux demandes de services et communiquent des renseignements techniques aux clients/utilisateurs finaux.
