Title: Senior Graphic Designer Department: Corporate Services Reports to: Senior Director, Growth & Client Experience Job Summary The Senior Graphic Designer is a creative leader responsible for elevating CPhA’s visual identity across all channels. This role combines hands-on design expertise with strategic thinking to deliver engaging, accessible, and brand-forward visuals that support key organizational initiatives—including promoting CPS, the leading digital clinical support resource for healthcare professionals (HCPs) in Canada; professional education; corporate communications; events; advocacy; and partner programs. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing & Communications teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to create compelling design solutions that strengthen the CPhA brand, enhance our programs and campaigns, and resonate across the pharmacist and broader healthcare provider community. We are a fully remote workforce and are looking for someone who is able to be fully productive, efficient and effective in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities Creative & Design Execution · Lead the design and production of digital assets (web graphics, social media content, email visuals, digital ads, UI/UX design elements) and print materials (reports, infographics, collateral materials, posters, and event materials). · Translate complex healthcare and drug information into clear, accessible visual formats. · Maintain and evolve the CPhA and CPS brand standards; ensure consistency across all touchpoints. · Develop creative concepts and visual treatments for campaigns, events, product launches, and awareness initiatives. Brand Leadership · Serve as a brand ambassador, guiding teams in proper brand application. · Ensure all design work aligns with organizational goals, accessibility standards (AODA), and industry best practices. Collaboration & Project Management · Work closely with Marketing, Product, Education, Advocacy, and Corporate teams to meet business needs. · Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and quality expectations are met. · Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and printers. Digital & Technical Expertise · Stay current with design trends, accessibility standards, and tools relevant to healthcare, education, and software environments. · Contribute to UX/UI discussions for websites, landing pages, and product interfaces. · Prepare production-ready files and ensure quality across digital and print outputs. Qualifications Experience · 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in healthcare, education, technology, publishing, or a similar content-rich environment. · Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD/Figma), MS Office, and digital content creation tools. · Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects across digital and print formats. · Experience designing for accessibility (AODA/WCAG compliance). · Excellent communication, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills. · Strong project management abilities and comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. · Experience working with bilingual (English/French) content is an asset.
