Underground Services Miner Permanent position – Unionized Position to fill 1 Reference MI26-53 Hourly rate 39,92 $ Deadline to apply September 25, 2026 The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest. Privileges & benefits * Competitive remuneration, coupled with additional benefits such as bonuses, as well as a comprehensive range of social benefits including group insurance, a generous retirement plan, telemedicine, the PAEF, and many more. * Enriching and stimulating learning opportunities. * A friendly, committed, and collaborative working environment Responsibilities Reporting to the Supervisor, the main responsibilities of the Underground Services Miner will be: * He performs his tasks according to the safety standards in effect (road safety and health and safety). * He inspects his equipment before and after his shift. * Responsible for the descent of the underground material and the maintenance of the refuge chambers. * If necessary, he will perform any other tasks requested by his supervisor. Qualifications * Must be able to operate at least 2 of the following equipment: Boom truck, Lube Truck, Toyota Jeep. * Possess a high school diploma (DES). * Possess FMTM mining modules 1 to 5 and 7. * Possess a class 1 driver's license. * Possess an explosives permit is mandatory. * Have successfully completed a heavy equipment course or have experience deemed equivalent. * Good knowledge of preventive mechanics is an asset. * Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset to facilitate and improve internal communications.
