Role Description The Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Canadian Tire in Slave Lake, AB. This role is responsible for greeting customers, listening to their automotive service needs, and accurately documenting work orders. The Service Advisor coordinates with technicians, communicates service recommendations, provides cost estimates, and ensures customers understand the work being performed. Daily tasks include scheduling appointments, updating customers on service status, handling aftersales inquiries, and processing payments. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized service counter, adhering to safety and company policies, and contributing to a positive, customer-focused service environment. Qualifications Strong customer-focused service skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction. Ability to deliver Customer-focused Service and manage Aftersales support professionally. Effective Communication skills, both in-person and over phone or email. Basic automotive knowledge or willingness to learn to explain services clearly to customers. Experience in retail, automotive service, or a related customer-facing role is an asset. Ability to work on-site full time, including evenings and weekends as required. Comfort with computer systems for scheduling, billing, and documentation. High level of reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and company policies.
