Electrical Apprentices - (Jarvis, ON) The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW) is currently recruiting 3rd Term and above Electrical Apprentices for work with Valard Construction in Jarvis, Ontario. Work conditions and compensation are among the most competitive in the Canadian construction industry. Project Details Location: Jarvis, Ontario Start Date: TBA Duration: 3+ months Compensation Total Wage Package: Wages to reflect Apprenticeship Term Please Note: There is no Living Out Allowance (LOA) and no travel allowance associated with this project. Schedule Monday to Friday 5 days x 8 hours - overtime as required Scope of Work Site cleanup and maintenance Ground grid installation Underground PVC conduit installation Cable pulling (small and large cable) Cable terminations Equipment setting and installation Fence and equipment grounding Substation installation as required Requirements Candidates must: Hold a valid Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification Speak and understand English Be prepared to work outdoors Supply their own tools in accordance with the collective agreement Arrive on site with: Safety boots High-visibility vest and/or long-sleeve high-visibility shirt (FR clothing is not required at this time)

Electrical apprentices will be involved in various tasks including site cleanup, cable pulling, and installation of electrical equipment. They will also assist in grounding and substation installation as required.

Candidates must hold a valid Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification and be prepared to work outdoors. They should also supply their own tools and arrive on site with appropriate safety gear.
