Journeyperson Electricians - (Jarvis, ON) The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW) is currently recruiting Journeyperson Electricians for work with Valard Construction in Jarvis, Ontario. Work conditions and compensation are among the most competitive in the Canadian construction industry. Project Details Location: Jarvis, Ontario Start Date: TBA Duration: 3+ months Compensation Total Wage Package: $74.64/hour Breakdown Base Wage: $58.58 Vacation & Stat Pay: $5.86 Health & Welfare: $3.75 RRSP Contribution: $6.00 Please Note: There is no Living Out Allowance (LOA) and no travel allowance associated with this project. Schedule Monday to Friday 5 days x 8 hours - overtime as required Scope of Work Site cleanup and maintenance Ground grid installation Underground PVC conduit installation Cable pulling (small and large cable) Cable terminations Equipment setting and installation Fence and equipment grounding Substation installation as required Requirements Candidates must: Hold a valid Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification Speak and understand English Be prepared to work outdoors Supply their own tools in accordance with the collective agreement Arrive on site with: Safety boots High-visibility vest and/or long-sleeve high-visibility shirt (FR clothing is not required at this time)

The role involves site cleanup and maintenance, as well as various electrical installation tasks including cable pulling and terminations. Electricians will also be responsible for equipment setting and substation installation as required.

Candidates must hold a valid Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification and be able to speak and understand English. They are also required to supply their own tools and arrive on site with appropriate safety gear.
