Account Manager – Ottawa Territory 📍 Ottawa, ON Canaropa is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Account Manager to join our Sales team and manage the Ottawa territory. If you're passionate about building long-term customer relationships, uncovering new business opportunities, and helping customers find the right solutions, we'd love to hear from you. As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for growing an established territory by strengthening existing customer relationships, developing new business, and representing one of Canada's leading distributors of architectural door hardware and security solutions. What you'll do: Manage and grow an established customer base throughout the Ottawa region Develop new business opportunities with distributors, contractors, and other channel partners Visit customers regularly to identify opportunities and provide product solutions Present products, services, and value-added solutions Prepare quotations, negotiate opportunities, and close sales Follow up on open opportunities and provide exceptional customer service Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity in our CRM Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and new product offerings Deliver product training and technical presentations to customers Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Product Management, and other internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience Plan and manage your territory efficiently to maximize customer coverage and sales growth What we're looking for: Experience in B2B sales or account management Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills A customer-first mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Experience with Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an asset A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle Willingness to travel throughout the Ottawa territory Experience in the architectural hardware, building products, construction, or related industry is considered an asset Why Canaropa?
