We manage the entire lifecycle of the finance receivable from credit adjudication through to contract administration, customer service, default management, and post charge-off recoveries. What your day and week could look like Reporting to the Director, Servicing Operations, a Collections Specialist plays an essential role in supporting customers through the repayment lifecycle of their financing account. This includes: * Ongoing stewardship of a dedicated segment of customer accounts. * Achieving a high-volume of communication and attempted communication over a combination of inbound and outbound telephone calls. * Assisting customers with mid-term changes to their accounts. * Maintaining accurate records of communication and contact information. * Facilitating win/win outcomes for customers who have become past-due. * Engaging in dialogue with customers and external/internal partners via telephone, email, text messaging, and letter correspondence. * Resolving product, service, and repayment issues by clarifying, investigating, explaining, documenting and following-up on actions taken. How you bring your passion for success * Two (2) or more years customer service and collection experience in a consumer lending environment * A commitment to exceptional customer service. * Outstanding ability to build rapport over the telephone. * A high degree of accuracy within a fast-paced environment. * Ability to juggle competing priorities with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and team targets. * Upbeat and results-oriented team contributions. * Dependability, self-motivation, and personal accountability. * Capacity to toggle between working independently and collaboratively. * A dedication to combined team and personal success. * Fluent ability to write and speak business information in English. * Familiarity and ease in working with online platforms and Microsoft Office i.e., Excel, Teams, and Outlook. * Motivation and drive towards continuous learning and growth within your role and the company. Additional Information * Priority will be given to candidates with availability and flexibility to work shifts during days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
