We're seeking a Certified Electrician for our WynnWood Sawmill, where you can utilize your Red Seal technical expertise, knowledge of PLCs and a couple years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. As a Certified Electrician, your responsibilities will include: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control panels within the mill. Diagnose and repair electrical issues in machinery, sensors, transmitters, and other equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations. Program, troubleshoot, and optimize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other control systems to enhance efficiency and precision in the mill processes. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with electrical systems. Identify and address electrical safety hazards within the mill environment to maintain a safe working atmosphere. Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to minimize downtime. Prioritize and address critical electrical issues to ensure the continuous operation of sawmill equipment. Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to coordinate electrical repairs and maintenance activities. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to convey information about electrical systems and potential improvements. For this role, we are looking for candidates who have: Red seal or Interprovincial TQ Strong background in PLCs setup and troubleshooting Solid background in heavy industry and construction The hourly rate for this position is: $47.16 Please Note: The wage provided is for base pay only.
