*Job Overview * We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance will be essential to keep our logistics running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills directly contribute to the efficiency of our supply chain. *Duties* * Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over long and short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations * Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security * Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo * Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, fuel logs, and inspection reports * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly * Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness * Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling *Skills* * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 license * Certification or experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment * Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for transporting goods * Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues * Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for heavy vehicle operation * Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients * Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate heavy machinery, and perform vehicle inspections efficiently Join our team today and drive your career forward with a company that values safety, efficiency, and your professional growth!
