This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills directly contribute to the efficiency of our supply chain. *Duties* * Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over long and short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations * Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security * Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo * Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, fuel logs, and inspection reports * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly * Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness * Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling *Skills* * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 license * Certification or experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment * Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for transporting goods * Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues * Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for heavy vehicle operation * Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients * Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate heavy machinery, and perform vehicle inspections efficiently Join our team today and drive your career forward with a company that values safety, efficiency, and your professional growth!
