Concrete Foreman

Position Overview Canoco Energy Services is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher Foreman to lead concrete crews on commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong experience in concrete placement, finishing, crew supervision, and project coordination while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead concrete finishing crews on site Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, equipment, and materials Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project plans Ensure accurate concrete placement, finishing, curing, and quality control Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule Conduct toolbox meetings and promote a strong safety culture Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors Complete daily reports and site documentation Mentor and develop crew members Qualifications & Requirements Journeyperson Concrete Finisher certification is considered an asset or equivalent experience Significant experience leading concrete finishing crews on commercial, industrial, or civil projects Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, formwork, and site layout Experience operating and coordinating finishing equipment is an asset Valid CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and Fall Protection Valid Class 5 Driver's License Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards Why Join Canoco? Requires significant experience leading concrete finishing crews and strong knowledge of concrete placement and site layout. Must hold valid certifications including CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, and a Class 5 Driver's License.
