Position Title: Auto Parts Store Shipper/Receiver/Dispatcher Location: North Bay, Ontario Type of Employment: Full-time permanent Compensation: Wage range $18.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience, plus comprehensive group benefits Hours * 40 to 44 hours/week * Monday to Friday * Occasional Saturdays as needed Who are we looking for? * A dedicated individual looking for long-term employment and who is committed to working reliably 40 to 44 hours/week * An individual with a passion for customer service, and knowledge of automotive aftermarket parts, cataloguing systems and/or sales/repair/service experience * A team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and customer-focused mindset Position Summary As a Shipper/Receiver/Dispatcher, the individual will be required to check, pick, receive, ship, stock, and organize automotive parts. They will effectively dispatch delivery drivers and safely deliver auto parts to customers, being mindful of customer requests. They will also help maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the store. They will be required to answer internal and external telephone calls and complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner. Key Responsibilities * Support all store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking, and organizing) * Coordinate the drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles * Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles * Efficiently deliver parts, being mindful of customer requests * Process returned or defective products * Help control inventory and ensure product availability * Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner * Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns * Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations, and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize, and mop) * When required, answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner * Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team Key Requirements * G Driver’s License and a clean 3-year abstract required * Shipping/Receiving experience is an asset * Familiarity and knowledge of the local area * Driver dispatching and coordination experience * Strong communication skills (written and verbal) * Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically * Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training) Desirable Skills and Abilities * Accountability and dependability * Excellent ability to work independently and as a team * Positive attitude and a flexible mindset * Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills * Time management and prioritization skills with a deadline-oriented mindset * Ability and willingness to improve, learn and adapt in accordance with new procedures, change and technology Physical Requirements * Ability to reliably work 40 to 44 hours per week * Ability to lift and move 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) to 50 lbs.
