Key Responsibilities Perform accurate mechanical, electrical, and computer diagnostics to isolate faults and complete repairs efficiently. Execute high quality repair work across engine, transmission, suspension, braking, and HVAC systems in strict alignment with GM OEM specifications. Conduct thorough multi-point inspections (MPIs), document required repairs clearly, and collaborate with service advisors to build complete, accurate customer estimates. Conduct road tests and self directed quality checks to uphold a strict "fix it right the first time" standard. Maintain a clean, organized bay while strictly adhering to dealership safety protocols, hazard handling, and proper tool maintenance. Complete ongoing GM training modules, web-based courses, and hands on technical upskilling to stay ahead of evolving EV and modern vehicle technology. What we’re Looking for Red Seal Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification (or equivalent experience). Strong diagnostic aptitude with deep working knowledge of modern automotive electronic systems, drivability troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs. Previous GM dealership or OEM trained experience is considered a strong asset. Valid driver’s license, along with a complete personal tool inventory to perform day to day repairs efficiently. Exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship. 3rd/4th year apprentices with strong experience are also encouraged to apply.
