Transportation is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing and the customer. Management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes. Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking an on-site Sr. Coordinator for an immediate need within our Applewood-Vaughan location The Sr. Coordinator is a part of the Concord Transportation Dispatch team and responsible for the day-to-day dispatching and private fleet of our private fleet driving team, monitoring e-logs for ministry compliance, Driver and equipment scheduling and other various private fleet dispatching responsibilities. Dispatching Private-Fleet operations Modifying routes and expediting urgent shipping requests Managing order traffic into priority sequence for Operations processing Building delivery routes for Private Fleet operations Managing transportation related customer service requests Provide guidance or technical assistance to organizational projects This Job Might Be For You If HS Diploma, GED or technical certification in related field Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field (commercial carriers or private fleet), preferred Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, One Note) Prior experience with JD Edwards (AS/400), SAP considered an asset Team-oriented, committed, driven, assertive, curious and self-directed Problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, adaptable to change and able to reprioritize on short notice Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
