As our Curriculum Coordinator, you'll help shape the learning experiences that inspire youth across Manitoba by coordinating the maintenance, implementation, testing, review, and continuous improvement of our career exploration lessons and skill development workshops. Working closely with our Program Leadership Team, you'll ensure our curriculum remains engaging, inclusive, accessible, and ready for delivery across Career Trek's Manitoba program sites. What You'll Do You'll play a key role in strengthening Career Trek's programming by: Coordinating the review, testing, revision, approval, and implementation of curriculum. Maintaining and updating career exploration lessons, facilitator guides, workshop materials, activity resources, and supply lists. Gathering and implementing curriculum feedback from staff, participants, and stakeholders. Ensuring lessons are current, inclusive, accessible, age-appropriate, and practical. Applying Universal Design for Learning (UDL), experiential learning, culturally responsive teaching, and career development principles. Researching Manitoba labour market trends, educational pathways, and emerging careers. Collaborating with curriculum developers, post-secondary institutions, businesses, community partners, and subject matter experts. Coordinating the testing and piloting of new and revised lessons. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. An excellent researcher, writer, editor, and communicator. A collaborative team player who can also work independently. Comfortable presenting information in engaging and age-appropriate ways. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Canva, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other content development tools. Knowledgeable about Manitoba's K–12 education system and curriculum best practices. Assets (Nice to Have) We're especially interested in candidates with experience or education in: Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, Career Development, Youth Work, Community Development, or a related field (equivalent experience will also be considered). Curriculum development or implementation. Working with children and youth (Grades 5–12). Universal Design for Learning, experiential learning, or culturally responsive teaching. Facilitating workshops or staff training. Supervising staff. Manitoba labour market trends and educational pathways. Supporting marginalized or underserved youth. Indigenous worldviews, teachings, and Truth & Reconciliation. A valid Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Additional Information Please note: A stable internet connection is required for hybrid work. Travel throughout Manitoba, including rural and northern communities, will be required. A Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Check are required. A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate is required (or willingness to obtain one — Career Trek will reimburse the cost). The Curriculum Coordinator manages the maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of career exploration lessons and skill development workshops. This includes researching labor market trends and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure curriculum is inclusive and accessible.

Candidates should be highly organized with strong research and communication skills and proficiency in content development tools. Experience in education, curriculum design, or youth work is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and required background checks.
