Pharmacy Assistant (Kroll Data Entry)

CareRx is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant (Pharmacy Software/ Kroll Data Entry) to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with the preparation, packaging and organization of medication deliveries, while supporting daily operations in accordance with the Pharmacy Standards of Practice. Role Accountabilities: * Preparing, processing, and filling prescriptions using eMAR and Kroll pharmacy software, including handling refills and third-party adjudications. * Receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory, including managing returns of expired products. * Preparing and ensuring timely delivery of prescriptions and labels to care facilities and retirement homes, * Managing supplies and performing other related administrative duties. * Responding to inquiries from nurses and healthcare providers, and directing calls to appropriate staff. * Ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and contributing to a clean pharmacy environment * Assisting with various pharmacy operations, including potentially operating automated machines and compounding prescriptions under pharmacist supervision as well as consulting with management on unresolved issues. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience. Location: This is on-site role at our Cambridge Pharmacy - 1165 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge ON and follows a five-day workweek. Opportunity: This is a current existing position. The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for preparing, processing, and filling prescriptions using Kroll and eMAR software while managing inventory and supplies. They also provide support to healthcare providers and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with pharmacy standards.

Candidates should have experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or relevant certification, along with proficiency in Kroll and eMAR systems. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate pharmacy automation equipment are essential for this role.
