What You Bring… Hold a post-secondary diploma, degree or certificate in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, gerontology, or other related field from an Ontario post-secondary institution. Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Knowledge and skills in the Long-Term Care sector LTC Organizational and leadership skills Ability to work under direction Knowledge and skill in a variety of recreational activities Punctual and reliable The hours are 12 pm - 8 pm. The starting rate of pay is $23.68 per hour, and the terms and conditions of employment are as per the Collective Agreement. The Activity Aide is responsible for implementing and leading a variety of recreational activities for residents in a long-term care setting. The goal is to bring joy and improve the well-being of residents through engaging social and therapeutic programs.

Candidates must hold a post-secondary diploma, degree, or certificate in recreation, kinesiology, gerontology, or a related field from an Ontario institution. Strong communication skills and a criminal reference check with vulnerable sector screening are required.
