Now Hiring: Licensed Practical Nurses (Full Time) Location: Casa Mia – Vancouver, BC Work hours: 4 days on / 2 days off rotation consisting of: -2 morning shifts: 6:30am - 2:30pm. -2 evening shifts: 2:30pm - 10:30pm. About Casa Mia Casa Mia offers 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views. This estate home features three stories with a grand dining area, ballroom, recreation areas and large outdoor patios on each floor. Casa Mia provides our residents with a heritage estate setting and modern best practice care. Casa Mia works in partnership with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. What You’ll Do As an LPN, you’ll play a vital role in providing resident-centered care. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting resident admissions, discharges, and transfers Completing assessments and contributing to individualized care planning Administering medications, treatments, and wound care Documenting care in PointClickCare and completing MDS assessments Liaising with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams Delegating tasks to care aides and participating in care conferences and medication reviews What You Bring Active registration as an LPN in good standing with BCCNM Current CPR and First Aid certification Proficiency in electronic documentation systems (e.g., PointClickCare, eMAR) Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written) Effective critical thinking and decision-making skills Previous experience in long-term care (preferred) What We Offer Competitive wages A supportive team culture within a modern, well-equipped facility A welcoming and well-maintained work environment located in a highly desirable neighborhood, offering a pleasant atmosphere for staff and residents alike.
