The Health Care Aide provides ongoing client care by observing, monitoring, and reporting changes in physical and emotional status to the nursing team. They are also responsible for the accurate delivery of prescribed medications according to established policies and procedures.

Candidates must hold a High School Diploma and have graduated from an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program. Active registration with CLHA and the physical ability to lift and reposition clients are mandatory.
