Position Details Position Status: Regular Full-Time Location: Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Physiotherapy LTC BW Hours: 77.50 FTE: 1.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0700-1515 Union: Non Union GSS Rate of Pay: 25.46 - 30.13 PCN: 261ETAst01 Date Competition Closes: August 13, 2026 Position Summary: Responsible for working under the direction of the team Physical and/or Occupational Therapists to provide therapeutic programming to clients focused on helping them to achieve their discharge goals. This position works as part of the therapy team to contribute to the client's quality of life by providing appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence. Responsible for other related duties as required. Qualifications & Experience: - Graduation from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program. - Relevant equivalent training or experience may be considered - Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential. - Experience with computers preferred. \n \n

The Therapy Assistant works under the direction of physical and occupational therapists to provide therapeutic programming for clients. They contribute to the client's quality of life by implementing interventions designed to maximize safe and functional independence.

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Therapy Assistant program or possess relevant equivalent training and experience. Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential, and computer proficiency is preferred.
