What you will be doing: Washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, kitchen tools, and food preparation equipment Drying and returning cleaned items to their designated storage areas Maintaining clean dish stations, kitchen floors, storage areas, surfaces, walls, and equipment Sweeping, mopping, and assisting with garbage and recycling removal Following food safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and cleanliness procedures Reporting low supplies, damaged items, or equipment concerns to the Executive Chef Communicating with the kitchen team to support smooth and safe operations Taking direction from the Executive Chef and assisting with other kitchen duties as assigned Your Ingredients to Success Friendly, positive, and dependable team player Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing priorities under pressure Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team Flexible and adaptable when duties or workflow needs change Previous cleaning or dishwashing experience is an asset Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable transportation is required Flexible availability, including the ability to work weekend closing shifts We are Carmens Group—a proud Hamilton-born hospitality company with a mission to create extraordinary memories. The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing kitchenware, utensils, and food preparation equipment while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. They also assist with garbage removal and support the kitchen team to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Candidates should be dependable team players who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to stand for extended periods. Previous cleaning or dishwashing experience is considered an asset, and reliable transportation is required.
