This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while contributing to a team dedicated to excellence in meat handling and food safety. *Responsibilities* * Properly cut, wrap, and package various types of meat products according to company standards and safety guidelines * Ensure all meat products are handled with care, maintaining freshness and quality throughout the process * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including sanitation of tools and surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations * Assist customers by answering questions about meat cuts, preparation tips, and product availability with friendly and professional service * Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations * Label products accurately with pricing, weight, and expiration dates for easy identification * Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies or quality concerns *Experience* * Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided * Knowledge of food preparation techniques, especially butchery or meat cutting skills, is a plus * Familiarity with food safety standards and proper hygiene practices is highly desirable * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols consistently * Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting shoppers * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in meat wrapping and handling Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering fresh, high-quality meats while providing exceptional service.
