Carrothers and Associates Inc. is an established design firm recognized for creating exceptional boutique residential projects including luxury custom homes, cottages and renovations. We are looking for an *Intermediate Architectural Technologist* to join our residential design team in a full-time, permanent role. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the office. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior staff, consultants and clients in a fast paced enviornment. * 3+ years Canadian residential architectural design firm experience * Strong understanding and experience with AutoCAD 2023 and Sketch-up * Understanding of the latest Ontario Building Code (BCIN # considered and asset) Experience working in a similar design firm enviornment * Solid working knowledge of residential building assemblies, design and construction detailing * Excellent organizational, communication and coordination skills * Self-motivated, detail-oriented and capable of working independently and collaboratively *Responsibilities (Minimum):* * Assist in the preparation of custom home and residential renovation working drawing packages and contract documents for tender and trade coordination * Develop detailed construction drawings and architectural details * Attend building site visits and complete as-built sets of drawings * Ensure project documentation complies with applicable codes and regulations * Support project delivery through various stages of design and construction * Communicate project information with consultants and project teams *What we offer (Minimum):* * Opportunity to work on high-profile residential projects * Professional growth and development opportunities * Collaborative and supportive team enviorment * Convenient office location with parking For more information on our company visit www.carrothersandassociates.com Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
