Customs Clearance Coordinator

Carson International is an established Customs Broker and Freight Forwarder with 50 plus years of providing exceptional Brokerage and Freight service to our Canadian and International clients . Our focus is on customer service and CBSA Compliance, and our customers rely on us to be an extension of their logistic teams. We are looking for entry level and experienced Customs Release Coordinators to join our clearance team. The ideal candidate will want to learn all aspects of Customs release and aspire to advance in their role with our Customs team. We are located in downtown White Rock and our office is on a major bus route. JOB DESCRIPTION: SKILLS: Accurate and fast data entry skills focused on numbers key pad Excellent written and oral communication Organizational skills Knowledge of Word and Excel Attention to detail Able to multi-task in busy environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Understanding of the processes involved in the Customs release of shipments arriving via various modes. Perform accurate and fast data entry for customs release processes across various shipment modes. Coordinate customs clearance activities while ensuring compliance with CBSA regulations.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in customs brokerage or data entry and a CCS certificate are preferred.
