We are committed to fostering a team-oriented culture that prioritizes patient comfort and high-quality service. *Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental hygiene practices, excellent patient communication skills, and a passion for promoting oral health. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive setting where patient care and team collaboration are valued. *Duties* * Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently. * Assist with patient assessments, including medical history updates and oral health evaluations. * Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software. * Support the dental team during procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring a sterile environment. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive experience. * Collaborate with orthodontics, pediatrics, and other specialties to deliver tailored patient care when needed. *Experience* * Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental office setting. * Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental practice management software. * Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is preferred. * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care. * Previous experience in dental assisting or customer service roles enhances patient interaction skills. * Familiarity with dental office protocols, infection control standards, and safety regulations.
