As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a critical role in improving equipment reliability and supporting the performance of our St. Marys corrugated manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to production. Your Scope Includes Develop detailed maintenance job plans, including labor requirements, parts, materials, tools, permits, and safety considerations. Build and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Prioritize and schedule maintenance work in collaboration with Operations and Maintenance leadership. Coordinate planned shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and major maintenance projects. Ensure spare parts and materials are identified, sourced, and available before scheduled work begins. Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, and work orders within the CMMS. Monitor maintenance KPIs and identify opportunities to improve planning effectiveness and asset reliability. Support root cause analysis activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and regulatory requirements. What You Bring You're a natural fit for Maintenance Planner if you have: Technical Diploma, Trades Certification or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or Business Administration preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience in maintenance planning, maintenance coordination, reliability, or industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Experience working with a CMMS such as SAP, Maximo, MP2, or similar systems. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems commonly found in manufacturing operations. Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation.
