Your Scope Includes Ensure that a plant wide safety program is in place and that all employees are carrying out their responsibilities as described Participate in accident and incident investigations and corrective actions are taken to prevent hazardous conditions and/or behaviors Provide oversight and strategic direction to meet organizational objectives and ensure the fiscal health of the business unit. Develop business strategies to support the operational functions and ensure profitability. Development of an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes safety, quality, continuous improvement, retention, employee development and high performance. Foster positive labour relations by working collaboratively within a unionized environment and ensuring compliance with the collective agreement. Display exemplary leadership to support a team of direct reports comprised of Supervisory and Management staff, and all other office and plant personnel What You Bring You're a natural fit for Plant Manager if you have: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering preferred A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership role. Prior experience in the paper industry or other manufacturing environment preferred Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment, including the application and interpretation of collective agreements and labour relations practices, is strongly preferred Experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is an asset Experienced with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), SAP, PowerBI and other Data Visualisation tools If you bring the same care to who you are as to what you do, we’d love to meet you! Exigences

Candidates should ideally hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering and possess over 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience. Proficiency in LEAN principles, SAP, and experience managing unionized environments are strongly preferred.
