Your Scope Includes Lead incident investigations and ensure proper implementation of corrective actions (ConformIT). Promote employee participation in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure all equipment execute the schedule of the day according to established standards and operating strategies. Own and monitor SQDEP metrics for the assigned shift and implement corrective actions when required. Communicate unresolved issues during shift handovers (T1) to ensure continuity. Build a high-performance team culture through coaching and daily leadership engagement with regular Gemba Walk. Track and support skills matrix progression and cross-training initiatives. Motivate and engage employees to achieve operational and safety excellence. Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair, timely, and professional manner. Foster positive labour relations by working collaboratively within a unionized environment and ensuring compliance with the collective agreement. What You Bring You're a natural fit for Production Supervisor if you have: Experience in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally in manufacturing Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment, including the application and interpretation of collective agreements and labour relations practices, is strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive engagement, and manage performance Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to prioritize and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to hold employees accountable while building a positive and respectful work environment. Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is an asset If you bring the same care to who you are as to what you do, we’d love to meet you!
