About Site Windsor, Ontario is one of two sites located in Canada offering softgel development and manufacturing capabilities for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industries. We have a broad range of integrated formulation, manufacturing, analytical and packaging services to offer full-service turnkey solutions. Position Summary We have an opportunity for a Fill Compounder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for compounding raw materials according to Master formulas and standard operating procedures. You will work closely with the production team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all processes. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices. Shift: 12 hour rotating continental shifts (Days and Nights) Location: Windsor, ON 100% Onsite The Role Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition at all times. Compound raw materials following standard operating procedures. Check and dispense raw materials as required in Master formulas. Clean and prepare equipment and preparation rooms for batch processes in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Drain and deaerate fill material batches as required and in accordance with standard operating procedures. Complete all required documentation accurately. Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices. Perform other duties as required. The Candidate Minimum Requirements High School Diploma, General Educational Development/Certificate of Adult Education Completion and/or educational credential assessment is required. The employee's role frequently involves sitting and utilizing hands and fingers for tasks such as handling, feeling, and keyboard manipulation, necessitating manual dexterity. Occasionally, the position requires standing, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, alongside close vision capabilities and potential exposure to chemicals. Preferred Skills & Background 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical and/or Good Manufacturing Practices facility is preferred. Strong mathematical skills to compute simple calculations (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, percent and averages). Ability to stand for long periods of time. High degree of attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. This position does not qualify for sponsorship. Candidates with non-Canadian credentials must provide an evaluation confirming the Canadian equivalency of the credentials as determined by the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada such as World Education Services. Pay The start hourly rate for this position is $25.04. The trained hourly rate for this position is $31.30.
