Job Description St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Secondary School is seeking a full-time Junior Science Teacher to join our staff. The successful candidate will primarily teach Science in Grades 8/9 and will become part of a collaborative, faith-filled school community committed to excellence in Catholic education. St. Thomas Aquinas is an independent Catholic secondary school in North Vancouver serving students in Grades 8–12. We are committed to the holistic formation of young people through academic excellence, spiritual development, and meaningful participation in school life. The Ideal Candidate Will demonstrate a commitment to the mission and identity of Catholic education have experience or interest in teaching junior secondary science create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment use a variety of instructional and assessment practices to support student learning work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school staff contribute to the broader co-curricular life of the school Qualifications valid BC teaching certification or eligibility for certification undergraduate degree with appropriate teaching qualifications strong knowledge of the BC curriculum commitment to supporting the faith life of the school Preference will be given to candidates who are enthusiastic about working with early secondary students and who are eager to contribute to a vibrant and supportive school community.
