Position Overview We are seeking an exceptionally talented and creative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As the culinary visionary, you will be responsible for shaping our restaurant’s culinary direction, creating innovative menus, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your leadership, passion for gastronomy, and dedication to excellence will be instrumental in delivering extraordinary dining experiences to our valued guests. Job Type: Full-time Locations: Picture Butte, Alberta Responsibilities Develop innovative recipes and menu items in line with brand standards and regional tastes. Manage food costs, inventory, scheduling, payroll, ordering, and receiving procedures. Collaborate with guests for special occasions’ menu planning. Supervise food production, presentation, and adherence to restaurant standards. Provide training, mentorship, and direction to kitchen staff. Set production goals and expectations for kitchen staff. Ensure quality and timelines are consistently met in all kitchen stations. Maintain safety, sanitation, and policy compliance. Oversee personnel policies and administer corrective action when needed. Support kitchen staff and maintain professionalism. Requirements Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 10 years of high-production kitchen experience; Executive Chef experience preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Fluent in English. Skilled in International cuisine. Red Seal or equivalent certification required. Valid Food Safety Certification Authorized to work in Canada. Traits Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in general computer operations (Microsoft Office Suite). Passionate and creative in the culinary field. Highly organized with attention to detail and time management. Leads by example with a positive attitude, hygiene, and professionalism. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Discreet, handles confidential information securely. Salary: Negotiable based on experience. Schedule: 8-hour shifts, day, evening, and weekends.
