Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Floor Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the dining area and ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. Your leadership and attention to detail will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality service standards. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Locations: Taber, Alberta Responsibilities Guest Experience: Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and have an exceptional dining experience. Floor Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of servers and support staff to maintain efficient operations. Table Assignments: Assign and manage table seating to optimize guest flow and server workload. Order Accuracy: Ensure orders are accurately taken and delivered to guests. Service Standards: Monitor staff to ensure they follow service standards, including presentation, timing, and professionalism. Guest Satisfaction: Address and resolve guest concerns and issues promptly and professionally. Training and Development: Train and mentor staff, fostering their growth in service and hospitality. Scheduling: Assist in creating staff schedules and managing labor costs. Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and managing inventory, including tableware and supplies. Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed in the dining area. Communication: Maintain effective communication with kitchen staff and management. Opening and Closing Procedures: Assist in the opening and closing of the restaurant, including cash handling. Requirements Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Restaurant Floor Supervisor or similar role. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented restaurant environment. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software is a plus.
