Job Description Cavendish Farms is looking for a SEASONAL Potato Harvest Laborers to join the Farm Team for a period of around 3-4 weeks, 10-12 hours per day. Expected start date is Mid September. The exact start date and period of work will be dependent on weather and business needs. Work location: 432 Hardy Rd, Timber River, NB, E4M 2L2 Bonus: a bonus of up to $2.5 per hour is available upon completion of the season. It is based on performance, attendance, and safety. Responsibilities Assist with the grading of potatoes during the harvest season. Sort and classify potatoes based on size and quality. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Safety and Quality focused. Physically fit to stand for extended period of time. High level of attention to detail. Ability to work in close proximity to moving harvest equipment. Farm experience is an asset. Able to lift 50lbs regularly. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends. The schedule can be up to 14 hours per day, working Saturdays and Sundays. About Us Founded in 1882, J.D.
