Expected Compensation: First-year guaranteed hiring annual salary range: $50,000 - $80,000 with transition to commission-based compensation offering uncapped earning potential as you build on the book of business provided. Every day brings variety: connecting with new prospects, deepening relationships with long-standing members, and representing Cayuga Mutual at community events. Depending on your strengths and preferences, this position will focus primarily on serving either the Brantford/ Norfolk area or the Niagara region. What You’ll Do · Prospect, qualify, quote and bind in line with underwriting guidelines; maintain a healthy pipeline. · Proactively manage renewals/retention; identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities. · Provide responsive, personalized member service, support members through the claims journey. · Track activities and outcomes in CRM; EPIC experience is an asset. What You Bring · Experience in P&C insurance, sales, or customer service. · Valid Ontario General Insurance Agent (OTL), RIBO, or equivalent license. · Strong communication and consultative selling skills; organized and self‑directed. · Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for local travel. · Nice to have: CAIB/CIP in progress; knowledge of agriculture and small commercial industry an asset. Work Model Full‑time. Primary work is in‑territory with local travel and occasional evenings/weekends for community events. Hybrid/remote options within Cayuga Mutual territory are available subject to business needs, member coverage, and manager approval.
