Role Description The Construction Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Regina, SK. This position is responsible for preparing detailed estimates for commercial, industrial, agricultural, and institutional projects, including analyzing drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Day-to-day tasks include performing quantity take-offs, developing cost breakdowns, soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes, and assisting with budgets and bid submissions. The Construction Estimator collaborates closely with project managers, site supervisors, and the leadership team to refine estimates, support value engineering, and ensure alignment with project scope and timelines. The role also involves maintaining estimating tools and databases, tracking market pricing, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes. Qualifications Experience in construction estimating, including interpreting drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Strong quantity take-off, cost estimating, and budgeting skills. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel. Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience, is an asset. Experience estimating commercial, industrial, agricultural, or institutional projects is preferred.
