CDN is a full-service provider with expertise in E&I maintenance, renewables/solar, major projects, combustion & emissions reduction, and measurement. We are looking to hire a Parts Runner based out of our Grande Prairie branch . The Parts Runner/Shop Hand reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for the daily parts and material pickups for the Purchasing department as well as other departments as required. Responsibilities: Complete pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, tools as required. General shop maintenance and cleaning. Receive shop items and put them into inventory (Re-stocking). Prepare Company trucks for work (cleaning, setting up tools, and decals as needed). Prepare material orders for shipments to other branches, for lay away for projects, or on trucks and trailers heading to site. Assist with inventory counts when required. Tag new equipment with CDN tags for tracking and identification purposes. Assist with the set-up and take-down of monthly safety meetings. Completing regular Shop and forklift inspections. All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements : Grade 12 diploma. Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Steel toed work boots.
