REFERENCE: 247181-67 IMPORTANT: Effective immediately, full time permanent DEADLINE TO APPLY: September 2, 2026 HOURLY SALARY RANGE: $27.78-$37.08 SCHEDULE: 8h30-4h30 or upon agreement with direct supervisor JOB SUMMARY: under the general authority of the dean of academic systems and the direct supervision of the scheduling and admissions manager, is responsible for organizing, supervising and designing procedures for the implementation of admission policies (academic and non-academic admission criteria). Duties And Responsibilities Plan the Admission process for Fall and Winter for Day and Continuing Education Effect the evaluation and selection of applicants to Day and Continuing Education divisions according to the College/MÉÉSR guidelines and ensure student records are coded properly Participate in admission recruitment activities such as high school visits, career fairs, etc. Represent the college at admission recruitment activities and make presentations specific to the College and the admissions process/selection criteria Liaise with SRAM and other institutions regarding admissions processes and policies Liaise with Career Program Chairpersons and Program Deans regarding admission procedures and decisions Analyze and apply Admissions policies and procedures; make recommendations to Manager when more complex issues arise Assure the daily operations of the Admissions Office and supervision of clerical staff Notify successful candidates of their admission Provide refused candidates with clear information and assistance throughout the application process Maintain admissions parameters and related information in the Student Information System (CLARA) Guide prospective students and parents by delivering accurate admissions information and advising on application and enrollment pathways. Evaluate Change of Program requests according to the College/MÉÉSR guidelines Liaise with the Communications Officer regarding content of college recruitment materials, namely the college calendar, admissions program brochures, Open House materials, website, etc. Responsible for the loading of Secondary V results from the Ministry and for the verification of Secondary V results and program pre-requisites, and notification to students Responsible for the verification of eligibility of Cegep transfer students and students with equivalent diplomas Assist with producing, implementing and maintaining admissions information on the College web site for Day and Continuing Education Coordinate Guidance Counsellor Day and other admission related functions and participate in the planning and production of Parents’ Night, Open House Coordinate English/French Placement Testing for new students Perform any other related tasks as requested Qualifications Education Diploma of college studies (DEC) in administration with an appropriate specialty or, in the office automation field, or a diploma or an attestation of studies that is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority. Specific Requirements Strong interpersonal skills and initiative Ability to work under pressure Ability to deal efficiently and pleasantly with people Autonomous – able to work with minimal supervision Public speaking ability (including but not restricted to making presentations to small or large groups of potential students, guidance counselors or parents) Good communication and organizational skills Problem solving and analytical skills English - oral and written fluency is essential French - oral and written intermediate Testing May Be Required To Demonstrate Knowledge Of Excel (intermediate) Word (intermediate) French (Intermediate oral and written) English (Advanced oral and written) Problem Solving Public speaking ability
