Reporting to the Atlantic Region Manager, the Deskside Support Student supports the business unit’s operational needs. Individuals in this position must understand the latest concepts in the information technology field and possess great client service skills. What you’ll do Desktop computer imaging and deployment Service Ticket entry and assignment Problem resolution Inventory management End-user assistance Communicating/working with the local users as well as the corporate IT department Who you are Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa) Available to begin work in January 2027 Desktop computer imaging and deployment Service Ticket entry and assignment Problem resolution Inventory management End-user assistance Communicating/working with the local users as well as the corporate IT department We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement. Education Must be enrolled in an Information Technology or Computer Systems Engineering Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
