This position is responsible for the accurate preparation, data entry, submission, and validation of regulatory reports, including Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and other FINTRAC filings. Working closely with AML Analysts and Investigators, you will help ensure reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time while enabling investigative staff to focus on higher-value financial crime investigations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys structured processes, working with data, and contributing to a strong compliance culture. *We have 2 openings for the 12 month term role* What you'll be doing: Perform accurate data entry and transfer information between internal systems and FINTRAC reporting platforms. Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and other regulatory filings in accordance with established procedures. Validate report information to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency prior to submission. Track filing volumes, reporting deadlines, and submission status to support compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to filing activities and reporting processes. Work closely with AML Analysts and Investigators to obtain required information and support timely report completion. Escalate data quality concerns, exceptions, or process issues to management as appropriate. Support testing, validation, and exception management activities for future automated reporting solutions and system enhancements. Assist with the development and maintenance of filing procedures, job aids, and process documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reporting accuracy. Adhere to Central 1's internal policies and procedures. What you'll have: High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business administration, finance, criminal justice, compliance, or a related field is an asset. 1+ years of experience in administrative support, data entry, financial services operations, compliance support, or a related role. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy. Experience performing repetitive and high-volume data entry tasks with consistent quality. Ability to follow established procedures and work within defined service level expectations. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Reliable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Salary range: $40,000-$45,000 The salary represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role.
