About CEO Law CEO Law helps companies access senior legal expertise through fractional General Counsel and legal leadership services. Our model allows organizations to manage legal proactively while maintaining predictable costs and reducing reliance on expensive external law firms. Our clients are primarily mid-market and enterprise organizations that need strategic legal leadership but do not require (or cannot justify) a full-time in-house legal team. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our business development team and investing heavily in AI-enabled legal solutions that help companies manage legal work more efficiently. The Opportunity We are hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate qualified opportunities for CEO Law’s fractional legal services and emerging AI-powered solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors with senior executives, understands consultative selling, and wants to work closely with leadership to shape how a fast-growing company scales its go-to-market strategy. You will work directly with CEO Law’s Director of Growth & Client Experience and collaborate with the company’s leadership team to build pipeline within mid-market and enterprise organizations across Canada. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Generation: Identify and research target companies within CEO Law’s ideal customer profile Generate qualified meetings with CFOs, CEOs, COOs, and other senior executives Conduct outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels Execute targeted account-based prospecting strategies Opportunity Qualification Conduct initial discovery conversations with prospective clients Qualify opportunities based on business needs, legal maturity, and budget Schedule and prepare leadership team members for sales meetings Maintain accurate records in CRM Strategic Market Engagement Support CEO Law’s presence in industry events, webinars, and content campaigns Engage prospects through thought leadership and educational outreach Help refine messaging and outreach strategies based on market feedback AI Solutions Rollout Participate in the rollout and promotion of CEO Law’s AI-enabled legal solutions Educate prospects on how AI can improve legal operations Identify opportunities where AI and fractional legal leadership can work together Qualifications Required 2–5 years experience in business development, sales development, or pipeline generation Experience prospecting and engaging senior decision-makers Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple outreach campaigns Experience using CRM and sales tools Self-starter who thrives in a remote environment Preferred Experience selling professional services, consulting, legal services, or SaaS Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise organizations Familiarity with legal operations, compliance, or in-house legal teams Interest in AI and emerging technology Compensation Compensation is structured to be competitive with similar Canadian BDR roles while rewarding strong pipeline generation.
