Position Description This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office (Downtown, Toronto) at a minimum 4 days per week subject to change at any time. We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support the implementation and enhancement of Murex Reporting capabilities. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the vendor implementation team, translating reporting and data requirements into functional specifications while ensuring successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, experience in capital markets reporting, and working knowledge of Murex Reporting, Murex DataMart, or WSS ION. The role requires close collaboration with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Technology, and vendor teams to deliver high-quality reporting and data solutions. Your future duties and responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support the implementation and enhancement of Murex Reporting capabilities. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the vendor implementation team, translating reporting and data requirements into functional specifications while ensuring successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, experience in capital markets reporting, and working knowledge of Murex Reporting, Murex DataMart, or WSS ION. The role requires close collaboration with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Technology, and vendor teams to deliver high-quality reporting and data solutions. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. 7+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience within Capital Markets or Financial Services. Experience working on Murex reporting implementations or similar Capital Markets reporting platforms. Strong understanding of reporting lifecycle, data extraction, and reporting architecture. Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams. Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Required Technical Skills Murex Reporting and/or Murex DataMart WSS ION (preferred) SQL and relational database concepts Data mapping and source-to-target mapping Data lineage and reporting architecture Management, Operational, Risk, Finance, and Regulatory Reporting Agile methodologies (Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent) Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Experience Capital Markets trading products. Regulatory reporting initiatives. Financial data warehousing and reporting platforms. Vendor-led implementation programs. Report migration and modernization initiatives. Knowledge of ETL and enterprise data platforms. Familiarity with cloud-based reporting and data integration technologies. Experience working in large-scale banking transformation or Murex implementation programs. CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
